Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am a partner in a small crawlspace repair business. I love the fact that our approach is unlike any other! We are invested in protecting people’s homes. It feels good!

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
I actually like cooking, so I would have to say the restaurant of Matthew. Other than that, Charleston Crab House and Waffle House for sure!!!

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
My family has lived here for 26 years. I joined the military and was always somewhat of a traveler. Something that stuck with me from being a military brat, I suppose.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Most interesting? I met a street musician once that blew my mind. I also met a homeless person that had the most beautiful voice I had ever heard.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Alaska! It’s pure, clean, and has resources that could sustain families the right way!

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Braveheart!!!!

Q: What advice would you give to people?
It’s never a disgrace to fail, but it is a disgrace to give less than your best to keep from falling. The time between the falling and the getting back up gets smaller as you grow. In that time you learn the most about yourself and your friends. Just pay attention. A good God is in the details!

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
I don’t have a bucket list really. I’m going after everything I can right now. If I died tomorrow I would be content, knowing that I’m actively working to always do my best.

Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?
Currently, Foy Vance

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Shrimp Boats

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
I know it asks for someone alive, but I would say John, Jesus’ bestie. I would take him to Mepkins Abby instead of lunch.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I love our little fishing holes, our beaches, and the artistic community.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Business that’s thriving, relationships healthy, kids excelling, and me CONTENT.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I like to peel things like glue.
