I have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I have been married to the love of my life for 34 years.

I love helping people discover the gold and the greatness inside of them.

I have lived here for 34 years.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
My goal is to travel throughout the United States to see our national treasures.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Life can be tough. I get it. However ,I have learned this lesson: you can see obstacles or opportunities. You can focus on the problem or the potential. You can see the situation or seek the solution. In all things you can realize it’s a good time to be you!
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
I would love to have a one on one personal conversation with Darius Rucker.
Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?
Hootie and The Blow Fish and Earth Wind and Fire.
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
I love going to the market downtown and seeing what the people bring. I also love the Dock Street Theater.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
The new superintendent of Charleston County Schools. I’d love for them to share their vision to see how we can partner with them to support principals, teachers, and students.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
The diversity of cultures and the fact that we can teach each other.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I see myself living on Sullivans Island at 1714 Middle St. I want to utilize that home to bring others to that island so that they can enjoy its tranquility as they make personal discoveries about themselves.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I am a patriot at heart. I love the United States and I love D.C.
Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
The Grand Canyon. The first time I laid eyes on it, I was speechless and in tears.
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
My favorite month is July. I’m a summer girl. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. Favorite day is my anniversary, October 3rd.
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
My family. I wouldn’t’ trade them for anything.
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My husband, Keith. He is a big part of who I am today.
Q: What is one or two of your favorite smells?
Pumpkin Spice anything and the smell of a baby.

There is no place like home. Home is where the heart is. Living the dream.
